Guest House Frequently Asked Questions 
Who is the Guest House for? Anyone in full-time vocational ministry may come and stay at the guest house for no charge. The house is intended for those in the ministry to have a place to get away.
What months of the year is the Guest House available for bookings?You may reserve the guest house anytime between August and May
How far in advanced do I need to book?Certain months of the year book as far out as 6-8 months in advanced. Other months have much lower demand and book only a few weeks in advance. Always call/email to check for a date if interested.
How far in advanced can I book?There are no limitations on how far into the future you can book the house in advance.
What is the house like?The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Each bedroom has a double/ queen size bed as well as a bunk. There is a living room with pool table, tv, DVD player, and Nintendo Wii, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare a meal including a stove, fridge, dinner plates, pots, dishwasher, and more. We keep the fridge and pantry stocked with some essentials (milk, eggs, etc) but feel free to bring food to prepare a meal or shop at the local grocery store/Super Walmart. The house is stocked with linens and towels, so no need to pack any!
May I invite family to come and stay with me? Feel free to invite family and friends to enjoy your stay with you at the house.
What do we need to do before we leave?
Nothing! Leave the house as is. The Skyview staff is here to serve you and take care of all of your needs. We’ll make sure the entire house is turned over after your departure.
Does the house have WiFi?
Yes, the house as well as the entire camp has WiFi. The password will be provided for you as you arrive.
What can I do on camp during my stay?Feel free to take part in any of the activities on camp! Swimming, the game room, mini golf- everything. At time the ranch does rent out portions of the camp to paying groups. We ask for all Guest House guests to be considerate and give priority to other guests if necessary. Horse trails may be booked during your stay through the ranch office. The cost for trails is TBD.
How long may I stay at the House?Guests are welcome to stay 1 week per year. Feel free to split up the week if you wish. For example, you can stay a few days in the spring and a few days in the fall.
How do I book the house?You can call the Ranch at 330-674-7511, or you can fill out the form on the "Check Dates!" page of this site. Have in mind some dates you may be interested in coming to the ranch.
What if I need to cancel my scheduled dates?Call or email the Ranch Office at 330-674-7511 to cancel a reservation. Hopefully we can immediately book another time for you to come and stay.
Can I book the house for my church leadership team’s meeting?Yes the house can be booked at a small fee for church/ other ministry meetings. Please contact the Ranch Office at 330-674-7511 to book your meeting. Ho |
